it actually says 4,950 races, or a save file in Super Mario Galaxy (no spicification so I'm taking it as just a normal save). Also, another way is actually to win at least one star in all cups of the 150cc Mirror mode.

Because the Wii U’s name (technically) consists of two words, how would the prefix for 8’s courses be formatted? Wii U? WiiU? Wii-U? Maybe even just U? Probably even NS or NSW if they’re feeling it? 
Also it’s pretty crazy how the Switch might not be represented with a prefix since MK10’s courses would likely use “NS2” as a prefix

If the original mario kart 8 was on wii u then the prefix will be wii u

In Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass on 2025-03-13 at 12:02:48It works on both Quick Mode & Complete Mode. But it needs to be a multicup(atleast 2 cups)
In Super Mario Kart Wii on 2025-03-12 at 20:50:53When you're choosing the cups for your multicup, you can click on "Advanced Options"(scroll down to the bottom). There, you can change the icons of the cups and choose available characters from the base game & your own(I don't remember if you can use other people's characters)
EDIT: You cannot choose public characters, you can only choose yours and any collab links you are given.
You can also choose whether personal custom characters(the orange Mario with the plus that let's you choose whatever) is available.
