Yoshi and the Mysterious Book

We are getting a NEW Yoshi game and I am so excited for it even though I won't be playing it. This news topic is about the new Yoshi and the Mysterious Book announced on September 12, 2025! The overview trailer just launched, and it just became a day 1! So, I decided to make a news topic about it.

1. What is this Yoshi and the Mysterious Book gane?

Yoshi and the Mysterious Book is a platformer game, just like Super Mario Bros. Of course, the game is published by Nintendo, what else did you expect?

2. What is the: Mysterious Book?

Of course, the main character is Yoshi, entering a LIVING encyclopedia. (I had to search up how to spell that) The game is also a bit like a puzzle game and Super Mario Bros Wonder.

3. What is this game even about?

It's about entering Mr. E's sheets and pages (the encyclopedia that we mentioned earlier), trying to find... treasure? No, cool stuff? No, CREATURES. Are you kidding me right now?

If you never heard of this game, I suggest you watch the Nintendo Direct. Here it is:




As you can see, somehow a random falling book just magically falls from the sky, yapping about mysterious creatures in the encyclopedia, but I guess it's dumb because you can't actually read it. So, Yoshi jumps into the pages so discover the creatures and provide more information about them.

That's pretty much it for the game I think. Anyways, let's head on over to the Overview Trailer!



You can do some pretty cool actions with Yoshi! You can eat stuff of course, throw, and more.

I know what I said in the beginning, but I don't think I'm that excited for it anymore. You're just gathering research about creatures. I already failed Science, now this?

Totovideo64 Absolute_ACE t'as mis un onglet de traduction mais tu as oublié de traduire en Français. Ca serait bien de retirer l'onglet (Anglais/Français) parce c'est assez perturbant quand on lance MKPC en Français...

Dayzi @-GamerGuy- there's an option for Mr. E to "name them for you", these names are probably predetermined in the game's files so the wikiers can use this name

anyways my opinion of the game: personally I don't think it's worth it, there's not really a good "plot hook", the yoshi moves are cool but like if theres no reason for me to play the next level im not gonna. theres no baby bowser trying to kidnap baby peach or anything it's literally just yoshi finds a book and wants to fill all of its pages, i mean i kinda understand the collective aspect but that certainly shouldn't be the main plot as there's such thing as casual players who don't care about collecting all the creatures and just want to progress through the story and fight the final boss (aka, me) but in this case idk if there even IS a final boss from the way the game is advertised
