I don't understand why "It's a CTGP" would be a good reason to use someone else's creation. The original CTGP didn't use custom tracks without their permission iirc.
No need to make a fuss about it. If he doesn't like it, you can easily replace it with another track. A crewmate-shaped circuit isn't hard to draw.
