This remake lost to Tox's remake because the gameplay in this remake is arguably worse than Tox's version in my opinion and his remake had more creative ideas to really improve upon the original track.

Hello everybody. It's been 2 and a half months since my last track was created. I will try to finish some more tracks in the coming weeks and months. With that being said, enjoy my remake of Sky Shrine and give your feedback on it if you want so I can improve it on my next track.

I have a lot to say on this track. Visually it looks great. I love the textures used and the theming is a little more creative than some other sky tracks. Gameplay-wise, it falls flat. The beginning section is by the far the only section that plays well in my opinion. Once you land from the first cannon, you have two paths to choose which both are thin. While this is a good concept, it was not executed well. You can literally go to the invisible ramp on the side and take the faster path which makes the other path useless. After you land from the 2nd cannon, there's the main path and a shroomless cut you can take in the sky section. While this plays kinda okay, the next section is where it becomes a problem. After the 3rd cannon, you sometimes hit on the road or you straight up fall followed by a ramp almost directly reaching that corner into the cannon. Then at both fortresses, the road stays thin which is very easy for back spam opportunities and then at the last section, it's basically boost panel spam with a shortcut that's slower. Overall while I like the visuals of this track, unfortunately it doesn't play well in my opinion. I'll give it a 3.5/5. Good attempt though Fways. :)
