yep, even though the topic started out as a quick mode topic, it has transformed into a topic for discussing lap count glitches in general. The any laps you want glitch is a complete mode glitch

New Track: GCN Baby Park 58 Laps

For several years now 9 has been the highest lap count in MKPC. But those days are no more! You can now use a simple glitch to add as many laps as you want to the counter!
Track is in Cup 2!

update: it is now 10 laps, beccause why the hell not

It is the rounding method.

Basically, you make a quick mode track, and go to the URL. Then, you look for the following: &nl=3

Change that to &nl=9.5, and then share the track.

The 9.5 will round to 10, and there you have it, 10 laps!

5/5, now make one of these courses 10 laps using my rounding method

Don't be depressed, just set nl=9.5 and it will round to 10! Let this be 10 laps once more

not long enough, make it 10 laps

when you share any lap number less than 1 or at least 10, it defaults to 3.

However, set the lap number to 9.5, share it, and it rounds to 10 laps

I used this on my track https://mkpc.malahieude.net/circuit.php?id=109015 and successfully created a 10 lap track

this track should have 10 laps on the lap counter, see if it does
