This is honestly a mess. I don't even want to be rude, but I'm currently playing every single Retro Rewind track to evaluate their quality precisely and individually, and this cup puts together four of my least favorite tracks of the project so far. The visuals are greatly subpar, to the point they sometimes get in the way of the gameplay. The gameplay of these tracks is also greatly below the requirements, there are in each of these tracks at least one major issue. It is impossible for me to rate any of the tracks in this cup above 1/5.

Not here to promote or compare because I think enough people are doing that already. Honestly, we all begin somewhere when we start making tracks, so I don't wanna be too harsh. However it is undeniable that the majority of these tracks have issues that severely hinder the player's experience. It's not just a few flaws there and there, it's something that greatly brings down this multicup from the heights it could reach. Some tracks are scaled wrongly, some others are unclear and a complete mess as to where you're supposed to go, some others have awful collisions... It's obvious these tracks were not playtested before release, and honestly I'm not even sure the creators of these tracks care enough to actually make the tracks better by updating them. The concept of having a project that is more accessible and allows people to play every MK Retro is very good; but the execution here is very flawed. It also doesn't help that on top of very poor gameplay, the visuals on most of these tracks are subpar. Using pixilart is one thing, having such rough, unpolished, undetailed visuals is another. I dearly hope you all won't get discouraged by the comments that you're receiving, because there IS potential. Don't give up, even if it might seem hard. With time, you will improve, and learn. It takes patience, time, work, yes it does, I have been there and I will not feed you lies. But in the end, it will be worth it, as you will be looking at your tracks with pride, and it might also boost your IRL confidence, self-esteem, etc. So I hope you all don't get demotivated and keep trying to improve your skills at track making so that this can become a solid project that people enjoy playing on. I will not be rating this multicup as that is not what matters to me right now. Good luck, I wish y'all the best, and now peace out :)

i really like this one. even despite the large offroad sections it's fun and had a good concept which was also done well.

honestly your opinion of the creator should never affect your rating, that's ridiculous. however, i said it, and i'll say it again, i honestly don't enjoy playing on this track, and it has nothing to do with nudgy as a person, i just don't find it that fun and some sections really piss me off. it's fine if it's not someone's favorite. i understand it looked like review bombing but honestly rating this a 3 without an explanation isn't an "attack" if it happens again in the future, 3 means the track is serviceable and people can have different opinions on tracks, it's always better to give advice though. gave the track a 4 bc the visuals are nice and the concept is original, but i do think in execution and gameplay this track honestly isn't the best.

while the 2 and the 1 aren't good reviews and are upsetting without justification, 3 isn't a bad review and doesn't need explanation. the exact people in this comment section have confronted others in the past, saying 3 is not a bad review and doesn't need a detailed explanation as to why it is given. furthermore, some explanation was actually given from one of the people that gave it a 3.

pretty fun, not amazing but pretty fun, some flaws there and there (snowman's head, last section being a bit repetitive, the ice part on the water kind of feeling odd)

overall fine, but the jump that goes into a wall towards the end is arguably very off putting and the overall ending mushroom section can end up getting quite messy especially in lounge.

no offense to the artist and i think it can fit considering the sort of horror-like vibe of the track but songs with vocals just don't go well with tracks, ive done that at some point and well no, sorry, just a personal preference tho
