What are your favorite MK tracks

My Top 5 tracks are:

5: Sky Garden. This track has something mysterious that always makes me very happy.
4: Shy Guy Falls. The definition of ADVENTURE. Definitely the best track in MK8, and the best music in all of Mario Kart
3: Mushroom Gorge. That’s literally the name of my bedroom. Great music and amazing atmosphere.
2: Mario Circuit (Wiiu/Switch) . I’m a simple man, I like 8 shaped tracks. And this is the best. Sorry, Figure-8 Circuit has been dethroned as the best 8 shaped track.
1: Rainbow Road (DS). I was raised with the DS, and Rainbow Road always stood out among the other tracks. It may be not the best, but it is my favourite.

Even though MKWii rainbow road isn't the best, I like it as much as the 3DS version. So, same here.

Here are my top 10 favorite

10. Waluigi Pinball (I only played the 3DS version)
The design is overall good. I like the balls sliding down, and the sound effects.
9. Cheese Lande Wii U/Switch
I can't see how that is a remake. They did very well.
8. Ribbon Road Wii U/Switch
You thought they updated cheese land? Well, Ribbon Road was better even more The layout is good and there are some shortcuts.  And the sizing of the whole course overall is BIG.
7. Rainbow Road (SNES remade on WII U/SWITCH)
Pretty awesome remake
6. Rainbow Road (Wii U/Switch)
Most people at first didn't really like this track, but you start to like it, and it is pretty sick that you drive in a space station.
5. Coconut Mall
Music = awesome. Layout = awesome. Meme = AWESOME. Very awesome track!
4. N64 Rainbow Road (Wii U/Switch)
The remake is super good and 1 big lap. The gold rainbow texture shines, and the chain chomps bounce!! A train delivers coins... This track was mastered.
3. Rainbow Road (Wii)
This level is awesome and very challenging, on top of motion controls, this is probably the most challenging track that is fun to play. I like the Super Galaxy style and this track is worth playing.
2. Rainbow Road (3DS)
This course is 1 big lap. It isn't just a rainbow road, it is a trip around the solar system. You go across planets, moons, and the 3rd lap has a big finale of speed tracks, a turning tunnel, jumps and gliders, and a big turn to end this track.
1. Big Blue
This track is all in anti gravity. The speed is very FAST. You start out with a big turn for an Ultra Mini Turbo, but then you get other wonderful obstacles. This course's music is epic too.

It was the first console I played, but it wasn't technically mine. I could say the Wii, but it was actually the 3DS

New Super Mario Bros Wii. A good spiritual successor to both Super Mario Bros 3 (my favorite mario game) and Super Mario World (the first Super Mario game which I played back in '13). It was really fun to play with four players.

Mario Kart Wii is a very good Mario Kart in my opinion, and drives circles around 7 and 8, but it will never be 64, DD, SC or DS... (SMK is kinda mediocre but still fun)

I never really liked the 3D mario games except for Super Mario 64.

And Mario Party 8 will always be the best game in its franchise.

I agree, Super Mario Kart isn't very good. It takes a long time to get used to the controls, like Mario Kart Wii, but Mario Kart Wii is actually good and I really liked the steering wheel idea.

I'm not saying super mario kart a bad game, it's better than the new mario karts, but not as good as the others.

I mean ok. It's just annoying to get used to

I like Mario Kart Wii. It was the very first Mario game I played. I like NSMBWii, and Mario Galaxy 2 is awesome.

Mario Galaxy 2 is epic, and Mario 3D worlds is pretty cool. Bowser's fury is fun, but I don't play it much. I like Mario 64, but the controllers are weird because I'm playing the switch online version.

I think they are trying to surprise us by adding just showing bad graphics and then it just becomes very detailed. If all these courses were ripped from MKTour, it would only be like 10 to 15 dollars. I don't really care though because I have the expansion pack. I wish I could pre-order it right now, but I guess I have to get it when it comes out. Anyway, I think this is cool. I hope they end up surprising us with new characters, etc.

I mean, I can't wait.

One thing though, If I buy it through the expansion pack and then my membership ends, do I not get the next waves or lose the DLC altogether?

Anyway, this sounds great, but still not MK9...

Also one more reason to get a switch if you still have a wii-u... More DLC... I guess?

Oh, and I love coconut mall (:

Can you not just bluetooth the controllers?

The thing is, the controllers don't do anything. They are just connected. You need to remap the buttons in a way that the computer recognizes it. Without this, you would be clicking your joycons with nothing happening.

I think it is only for windows or mac. Chromebooks may not work.

I've connected my Nintendo switch pro controller to my Chromebook before. I've only tried it on a rip off Fortnite game but I worked. I have a pc so I'll try it on there to.

How I connected it:
I just took the USB cable/charger for the pro controller and plugged it in to the side if my Chromebook. I've never tried to connect it wirelessly so not sure how that works. But you might be able to also use a pro controller for MKPC

You need to change the input of the controller to buttons on the keyboard. I think this app may not work on chromebooks, but you can give it a try

Check this page out: https://www.lifewire.com/use-nintendo-switch-joy-cons-on-pc-5071572

You will need to download an app that can remap the buttons to keyboard input.

Hope you find this helpful.

When I read the title of the thread I thought you were gonna talk about how they just run into walls and randomly disappear online XD

The red shells are OP now, it can:
Avoid pits
Jump over walls and pits
Can easily dodge items
it can move faster
and can use cannons and teleporters

This is pretty controversial because red shells can definitely be a pain in the kiester if you're doing really well in the race but if you think about it, everything is flat in this game so it would make sense that they would dodge things, also they jump over stuff because of ramps and yes I know green shells don't but it still wouldn't matter since green shells just hit whatever without being destroyed after hitting a wall. I've used a few red shells in online races and they just run straight into a wall and disappear so they aren't that OP.

This has nothing to do with anything but, 2d_Official, you completed my challenge before I added the rewards. You might want to check it out, just saying.
