Probably because the N64 had third-party content, literally, they had Mario Party 3

What would happen if the Wii didn't exist?
Then you guys would only meet us on the GameCube. No second floor for us. Think of it as a 2-story home. The 2nd floor, the Wii, isn't there, and we only have the main floor, which is the GameCube.
And for the console itself, would have bad reviews like the WiiU did, and the problem with Nintendo right now would start much more earlier in the 2000s.
