I have been thinking of making a new fanfic that hopefully won't die after the first 2 episodes. What I will do is put forward a few ideas and then you could vote for which one I should do. The options are:

Wave 6 got me hyped for peachette, but her bike suit looks rushed; using her on the city tripper (which is my main vehicle atm) looks bad. I think I'll just stick to using daisy, peach or pink yoshi

So there's 13 to begin with, if you put that in the bag you get more than 13, if you put x in the bag you get 13 × 3 which is 39.
13 + x = 39 so what you get when you put 13 in the bag is 26.
EDIT: It's rather simple once you realize that the bag isn't entirely telling the truth. It's just adding on the original amount to each time you use it. For example, if I had 17 coins, the first time I'd receive 34 in return and on the second time I'd receive 51, which is 17 × 3.
