Fun Fact: There was an unused level in Sonic CD. In the code it went under the title of R2, like all the other levels. R1 was Palmtree Panic, the first level, and R3 was Colision Chaos, the second. So it was obvious that a level was missing. Recently it was revealed that the level was going to be called Dubious Depths.
The present music for this level was found in the D.A. Garden under the title Little Planet. And people discovered songs that sounded like it in the Sonic Remix album, these songs are Techno Pop Mix and Sonic Steam. Techno Pop Mix has parts from all bad future level themes, including Dubious Depths.
And Sonic Steam is very simular to Dubious Depths present theme just with a few differences, so people theorise that it's a remix of the good future theme.
