If they didn't put their country it just wouldn't show a flag but the flag that was displayed was Mauritania's old flag not their new one

I was playing Mario Kart PC just now and I went to the Members List to see if my friend was on yet but what caught my eye is that there was someone from Mauritania online and the flag that was displayed next to their name was outdated. Is there more flags like this and should there be an update to outdated flags now and in the future?
