SPACE FOR ANYTHING (New)
On 2023-03-17 at 23:52:23
I'll be honest here, I hate TAS, it's one form of cheating but it's sugarcoated as hell to look like "the pole point of polishing your times to the bone". That means you can't get a world record by simply playing with your controller, trying your best and having a lot of experience and skill, which I find rather stupid. To be fair, it kind of reminds me of brutal homophobia, (which means you go further than being against it, to the point where you're manifestating hate against an homosexual person) which was racism in one form, but was sugarcoated to the point where it's considered normal among many, whereas hating on a certain religion or country is considered barbary among many... Anyways let's go back to the TAS, people admire the way they're so creative to break the game, but it ain't it for me, glitches can be slightly fun, but if you win a WR by just pulling a glitch really well it is meh, because even if it's effort it cannot be done by anyone. In a song BTS said "My legs are shorter, so how do you expect me to keep up? They say it doesn't matter as long as we're on the same field." And that's exactly it. Using glitches that not anyone can pull off, whereas anyone can pull off normal racing, is basically automatically putting yourself on a higher league. The field (the tracks everyone is racing on) is the same, but the league (glitches or non-glitches) isn't, and that's why I find it to be quite annoying, and it's not very spectacular, even if the effort put into those races is sure enormous. At least it doesn't do much to me...
ty for motivating me to make a rant/essay about that post. will make it later today
Sigh, can't I just live in peace and having my opinions without you trying to change them

Not gonna I love both backgrounds

Eh bien, Fiery a quitté le site pour faire une pause en raison de son adduction récente aux écrans. Le topic "This break is neccessary" l'explique assez bien. Ne vous inquiétez pas, il n'y a pas eu de drama, tout va bien.

Then he just left.
(Also I was in spectator cuz I was talking to someone)
I absolutely can't take those idiots anymore, I love how basically, every beginner could think about that looking at people reverse drifting, but there's something called research, and it looks like most of them are incapable of doing something as simple as that, like asking what it is, then look on some topics what you need to do to accomplish it, then look at the WR times, instead of deleting their account because they're frustrated because they don't know about this meta ? Ridiculous.

Has anyone ever considered making a biography of their life so far in MKPC?
Yes, and I'll probably do it soon

Hey, y'all, have you ever wondered what MKPC would be like if Space for anything was not recreated?
Old you would have created his own version, like new MKPC members, and the topics would get locked, people would regret it until the memory has fade away

@AC_Fiery okay but it's not a good solution to be rude towards someone who just had a thought like that, it's hypocritical considering you were ready to do the same thing with Advent's Calendar which didn't had any unlockable content related to it
What? I don't get what you're saying. I don't have memory of doing something that I don't even know you're talking about on the Advent Calendar but changes happen.
Someone was like "how about nerding the 12th challenge" and he was the creator of that track and you said YES YES YES so of course you changed, but not always for the best, you have absolutely no trouble making fun of someone and bringing everyone to your side, your "ignore it" on that topic looked like a "nobody cares" or "who asked" if someone told you that you'd be screaming in madness so honestly...

Cross Examination
Why KirbyBoy Is Annoying
He always simps for those 2 Wario tracks that haven’t been seen. Give up, they won’t be able in the BCP.
I am a therapist and this guy’s coping mechanism is non-existant. There is no way you can’t tell me that he doesn’t overvalue those 2 tracks.
And when his thoughts don’t match Nintendo’s, they then whine about the BCP ignoring all the actually pleasant tracks because the tracks they SIMP for weren’t there.
I can’t even sugarcoat this. He also complains about MKPC’s AI, when man you just have a skill issue. Do you realise how much problems that would make for people who completed the entire game already? It would make people’s efforts feel wasted, all just for new players. Others worked for that, very hard so they deserve the celebration for their efforts.
You wouldn’t deserve an celebration if you didn’t even struggle.

It is already done now, why would you tell him once more than that was stupid ? Feels like humiliation tbh. Also, the "skill issue" part is a bit rude, since it's really hard when you can only do snaking. I don't know, that word just makes me want to throw up.

Multiple Mario Kart Tracks Had Their Time of Day/Night Changed!
N64 Yoshi Valley
GCN Waluigi Stadium
DS Airship Fortress
And GBA Cheese Land
Please Let Me Know If There Are More!
Yoshi Valley didn't really change, but DS Wario Stadium did
Edit : Toads Turnpike as well

No cap (tell me if I'm saying no cap wrong), I thought a staff member changed Bluey2013's name to BlueyTheUnfunnyMan before I found out Bluey just did that himself lol
Nah because he's the kind of person to be like "OK I got it I'm unfunny see, now here's another meme with the same template and the same dumb joke over and over again but guys I admitted I was unfunny so it's okay right ?"
I mean he is only 9
This is kinda why I want an age restricter thingy, to get immature kids that spam out of here (Execpt for Fiery)
Age does not equal maturity
For example, Fiery and D4rk are more mature than me yet are younger
Also Landon is literally 16 I'm crying

I'm going to be honest here but in terms of rejecting opinions you disagree with, y'all are nothing compared to Landon, Bluey etc.
Nobody could forget Ashton either lol
Ashton is actually fine, Bluey IGNORED everything and anything that went against him, and Landon was literally insufferable and couldn't take the slightest opinion that went against him

I had an idea to make a game boy game with MKPC members in it (in some form), if you want you can suggest ideas or make sprites / code for the project . What kind of game should it be? A RPG? Let me know!

Okay now that everything that had to be said is said, we can finally close this debate. Now, can we agree on the fact that Double Dash shortcuts were on a way more creative and superior level compared to other games, notably N64 for example, or GBA, or DS ?
Yes, I agree with ya
I noticed the shortcuts used on MKDD, and they're very neat and creative
Definitively ! In DS, for examples, there is some interesting shortcuts, but if we're talking about secret passages and not just corner cuts, then we've only got Delfino Square, a little bit of Desert Hills, and Bowser Castle. I mean, there is a total of 5 tracks out of 16 without the slightest shortcut, which is almost one track out of three. The in Yoshi Falls we've only got the waterfall passages, the water cut in CCB, the garden cut in Luigi's
Mansion, the hills cuts and the pyramid "secret passage", Shroom Ridge only has a grass cut at some point, DK Pass has this pretty great shortcut atop the hill, Mario Circuit has a lot of grass cuts, Wario Stadium has muddy cuts, Peach Gardens has flower cuts... however in Delfino Square you can jump off the dock and cut through a secret street, whereas in Bowser's Castle you can go against the wheel for a little bit more time and reach a small hallway, then stay on the spinning bar and cut so much time. Oh and let's not talk about the retros. Either shortcuts at their worst, and the massacre they did with GCN remakes... oh boy
Compared to GCN... almost no track had no shortcut at all. Luigi Circuit had two secrets and small pathways on the side, Peach Beach has the warp pipe and the boost ramp path, Dry Dry Desett has many off-road cuts, Mushroom Bridge has 4, jumping over the sand, going into the pipe or on the sidewalks, and even atop the actual bridge... Mario Circuit had an enormous grass cut, Daisy Cruiser had that stocking room and this very risky pathway next to the pool, Waluigi Stadium had some mud cuts, Sherbet Land had some snow cuts, Mushroom City had literal city paths that were all over the place, a pink and a dirty path, Yoshi Circuit had you jumping over the lake and skipping the tunnel, and there's this point where you could jump in the water from a little cape to reach a secret tunnel and cut every of the tedious turns that made Yoshi's back... DK Mountain had the gap jump, Wario Colosseum had the other gap jump, Dino Dino Jungle has this section with three different bridges, and this shortcut where you can use a muddy bridge to reach a platform on the other side... in Bowser's Castle you can jump over the U-turn... it's a really good selection of shortcuts, they're really creative, it's a shame they didn't get kept.
