I kinda see why the Dry Bones icon looks so different from the DS icon; It's the recolored Koopa Troopa logo. After all, Dry Bones himself in MKPC is the recolored Koopa Troopa from SMKAnd here the DS icon :

What are the stop signs I am referring too, well in Mario Kart DS, some mission mode courses have stop signs, they act as walls and have invisible walls so you can't pass them. Used when only a section of a track is used. This would be more pleasing in MKPC as, just like MKDS, make an easier way of editing walls of courses, without the need to go back and edit them. They also look cool too.
