About Rosalina and Pauline, Idk how I forgot them, so here's some extra characters (remember, that's just some ideas I had):
-Rosalina (heavy) and Pauline (middle): they have special items that do basically the same thing, they mostly just look different, for example, Rosalina's special item are the star dash things from Tour, Pauline's also that but themed after hearts instead of stars.
-Cow (heavy) and Goat (heavy): yes, the cow from moo moo meadows and the goat from daisy hills, because wanted that, they both have the superbell from Tour, since they are farm animals.
-Shy Guy (light) and Sniffet (light): they have the super mushroom, makes you big and fast, b'ah.
-Mii (middle) and Mii (heavy): they have every item, like petey and boo

so, recently I've been thinking too much about Mario Kart Double Dash and how there's a lot of things in that game that really makes you choose the characters and with that, I thought of how cool it would be if more characters were added to the game, so yeah, what do you think?
Which characters would be cool to have on a double dash 2 or something?

Remember that this game has the very specific gimmick of pairs of characters, for example, Mario and Luigi, Peach and Daisy, and they also have special items, so be sure to consider that too, some extra things you can also put is weight (light, middle or heavy) and how the car looks.

here's what I thought of (I couldn't think of karts):
-Goomba (light) and Galoomba (light): both have the special item bad mushroom (or some other name), basically, your kart spins and drops 3 bad mushrooms around, when someone hits the mushrooms, they become small for some time, the mushrooms look a lot like normal super mushrooms, so it has that kind of fake item box idea to it.
-Poochy (heavy) and Flutter (middle): they have separate special items, but they basically do the same thing, poochy has the "puffball" and the wiggler has the feather, those items make you jump into a direction and then give you a boost, the puffball jumps less but travels a longer distance and the feather has a bigger jump but it doesn't go that far, think about horses and camels in minecraft.
-Metal Mario (heavy) and Pink Gold Peach (heavy): they have a bullet bill as their special item, it works exactly like every other Mario Kart.
-Hammer Bro (middle) and Rocky Wrench (light): their special is like the poochy and flutter items but the movements are done by the items and not by the car, the hammer bro has the hammer duh, and rocky has the wrench, they both get stuck on the ground for a while, but the hammer stays longer, they have 3 uses.
-Pianta (heavy) and Noki (light): they have the special item "fruit box", its a box with fruits, they basically pick it, rotate it a bit so the fruits fall from the box, it will start a trail of fruits that deal damage when touched, since there will be many, they are less worse than normal items when hit.
-Tom Nook (middle) and Isabelle (middle): yes, animal crossing, I don't care, it's funny... they have as their special item the oak sapling, you just put it in the Track and a tree appears, it's a solid object which you can't move, so you will be stopped by it if you hit it and it can't be broken, because of that it disappears after a while.

now it's your time, tell them characters!

and for the dumb people, no, double dash is not getting a sequel and I won't do any of this, it may be obvious, but you never know

For what I've seen in other places, best thing I can recommend you is to make an specific tileset

But yeah, that's something I never want to happen, I've always been anti-disney, when I was younger I even had a dream of me fighting against all of media, because everything was bought by Disney

Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins, because it's also not talked much and has, for me, the biggest variety of a Mario game, there's literally enemies that appear in only one stage the entire game

People talking about losing lapcounts as if it was happening on the most conventional shortcuts ever, literally, if that very specific strat makes you lose a lapcount, stop doing it. It's not the game's fault, it's of you, people who go out of bounds waiting to actually get something

For me it's an Skill issue

I guess I'll explain each betters since the poll is almost ending:

MK Live: I'll remake the game in MKPC by making a topic where you people can share "layouts" (lines indicating four checkpoints) and I turn them into the Tracks, since the game has only 3 Tracks per cup, the last Track of each will mix elements of the three prior.

MK World QM: I'll make custom Quick Mode tilesets based around the Tracks from the newest game, it will include tilesets for every Track on Grand Prix as well as tilesets based around specific sections of the intermissions (the intermissions being only the ones present on GP).

Every Track remake: I'll remake every mainline (I'm counting Tour) Track and add some stuff, like new shortcuts, visuals etc. for example, I'll make SMK Tracks be more original (I'll change names for Tracks and make them look distinct), some polls will be made to decide some stuff sometimes (like which version of a city Track people prefer), good to understand that I'll make them look actually flat like the old Tracks, so I won't use overrides to, for example, do the 2 floors of daisy cruiser, but overrides will still be used for aesthetic changes, such as sunset wilds. I'll also make the Arenas later down the line.

SMB1 cup: remember when I used to make Tracks themed around Super Mario Bros.? Well, I started doing a Track and never finshed, and the project is right now in hold, this option means I'll finally do the rest (if it wins).

Lost Tracks QM: I'll make custom QM tilesets for my QM multicup, sounds strange, but trust me, I have ideas to make them unique, I would also make the battle Arenas

4 Tracks in 1: I'll make a multicup where each Track is 4 Tracks that vary the ideas behind that Track's theme, all in a connected world, that at the end will make a very cool map with all the Tracks together. An extra thing is that some important stuff will be Mario Party spaces, like items and boosts.

Red Plumber Adventure Obby: there's this roblox game, that I have already beaten more than 5 times, and for me the style is really cool, and because of that I wanted to make it into a Mario Kart project, I'll basically make every part of that game a Track.

if you like any of the ideas that haven't won and you would really like to do them, be sure to tell me, I would really appreciate someone making one of my silly ideas reality, and if you need help with anything, ask me, I already thought a lot about each of these ideas and I would really like to tell you more about each of them.

so, recently I've been wanting to make more stuff for this game, but I've circling around 6 different ideas and I don't know what I should do first, so I'm making a poll where I explain each idea so that the people can decide what I do next.

Some will be shorter than others, so I can make two or more of them depending on what wins, and because of that the poll is not only checking what you like the most, it's a list of how much you like them, being the top one the idea you like the most and the bottom one the one you like the least.

Notice that if the one where I remake every MK Track wins, it's pretty unlikely I do the others, since I don't know if I'll have much space left to do anything else

for me, personally, no, since I'll play them so much the prices will end up looking cheap for how much entertainment they gave me, but I can understand why some people find it expensive, since they won't play mario kart world, for example, as much as I will

ngl, that's actually a good idea, the base Tracks probably wouldn't change, since they almost never do, but for custom Tracks it would be awesome, maybe it could be like a toggle if you want it or not, and the backgrounds themselves have to be the top 1/4 which normally appears plus the other 3/4 that you can only see when there's no ground (1/4 because for what I saw the backgrounds are basically a fourth of the entire screen)

Something similar happened to me, but it was worse, triple 15 second unskip ads
