Mario Kart Revved
This was by far my personal favourite Mario Kart PC project to make, as each cup will keep you on your gas pedal. Yes, even the mushroom cup.
Now before I finish up, here is what every prefix for every retro track means.
SMK2: Super Mario Kart 2. This was my first ever project, and though not my best work by today's standard, there were still a few tracks that made me realize... hey. These are pretty decent, and are worthy of being on this track list.
SMKD: Super Mario Kart Deluxe. These tracks not only had an appearance in their own game, but returned as ports in "Mario Kart: The Lost Races." These were very experimental tracks, and the experimental tracks that I found the most fun returned here in this amazing collection.
MKA: Mario Kart Advance. By far my least favourite installment due to the lack of item boxes, poor obstacle placement, and a very ugly 5 lap structure. However, I found this project as an opportunity to take the tracks that I found the most potential in, and reboot them to the point where it may even be hard to tell them from the original, unless you're a nerd.
SMK3: Super Mario Kart 3. This was the first game to introduce retro tracks, and although not the best selection, it set a standard for what would become the foundation and the inspiration for Mario Kart Revved.
TLR: Mario Kart: The Lost Races. The previous installment, and certainly a weird one. The goal of it was supposed to be wacky and weird, and it certainly worked. This is the game to have top priority for retro selections, and I personally picked what were my favourite tracks from that installment.
SNES: Super Mario Kart. As a filler track, I wanted to make my own take on Vanilla Lake 2. That's all!
I hope you enjoy this project! More will come to this project soon!
