DescriptionOh boy this one is interesting. So in my last track (Luigi Speedway) I found out how to get split paths inside quick mode (sadly CPUs won't take them) so that lead me to an idea. What if I make a track where there is a bunch of split paths that let you cut major amounts of time, but at the cost of missing out on most of the item boxes. While the concept was good, the issue was that tracks really don't have a lot of item boxes (they have about 3-4 item sets) and 1-2 extra items aren't that good to warrant
the amount of time lost. So I came up with a solution, just make the tracks have more item boxes. So if you want to take the fastest path (which to put it in perspective, it's about a total of 6 seconds per lap) you can, but you will only get one box per lap... out of the 6. So decide, are those 18-20 seconds worth the chance of getting Mario-Karted, or are you going to play it safe but now have to worry about having to deal with CPUs behind you cause you can make a breakaway
