À la base, l'arène bataille 3 de Super Mario Kart devait avoir le skin de l'île choco, mais Nintendo a changé d'avis durant le développement du jeu et a préféré mettre le skin du lac Vanille. Voici à quoi aurait ressemblé l'arène bataille 3 sans cette décision. Malgré tout, il ne faut pas croire que cette arène bataille est une simple copie de l'arène bataille 3 normale mais avec le skin de l'île choco: Le centre est différent, il y a des sauts qui ne sont pas présents dans la version finalem et les blocs de glace qui étaient en haut et en bas de l'arène ne sont pas présents ici. La map a été recréée par moi à l'aide de cette vidéo:
